We recently enjoyed a stay here and loved the lovely garden area where we relaxed with a drink and played some games in the cozy lounge. The room was a bit cramped for our family, and the breakfast could’ve been better on the first couple of days, but overall, we had a nice time. For future guests, I’d recommend checking out the garden for a chill vibe! 😊

Just spent a night here, and I gotta say, it felt like home. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and my double room was spotlessly clean. Had an awesome breakfast with loads of options that made my day. The only bummer was the wifi was a bit slow at times.

The room was impeccably clean, with a remarkably comfortable bed that led to one of the best night’s sleeps I've had in a long time. The welcoming service from the staff made a significant difference, and breakfast was freshly prepared, providing a delicious start to the day. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi connection was occasionally inconsistent, which impacted my work plans. the nearby noise was slightly distracting at times, though it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience.

A Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed our 2-night stay, though noise from the road was a bit distracting. A mirror in the bedroom would have been helpful, and having to manage confusion with breakfast details was frustrating. Staff were friendly despite the ongoing refurbishment. Consider calling ahead for clarity.

If you’re into juicy steaks, head to Tony's Grill just down the road – top-notch! Plus, the staff at Watling Inn were spot on, always ready to offer a local tip. My Double Room was a cozy escape after a long day, making it perfect for solo travelers.
On the flip side, Wi-Fi was dodgy in the room, which was a bummer, and my room felt a bit cramped. it’s worth mentioning the bathroom needed a bit more TLC during my stay.

Lovely stay with cozy vibes
The staff were super friendly, right from when I checked in. My room was all spruced up, and the comfy bed made it easy to catch some Z's. Had a delicious Full English breakfast that hit the spot! Just wish the noise from the street was a bit less. a nice little getaway.
